Entrance Exam
Incoming freshmen are required to take the Carmel Catholic High School Entrance Exam in order to be considered for admission to Carmel Catholic High School. The entrance exam will be administered on January 12th from 8AM-12PM. This exam is for 8th grade students only. On the morning of the exam, round trip bus transportation is provided from area schools and parishes. Please click here for the bus schedule.
Carmel Catholic High School uses the HSPT test distributed through Scholastic Testing Services. The test measures a student's skill level in the following areas: verbal, quantitative, reading, mathematics, and language. This exam belongs to the SAT/ACT family of tests and places value on critical thinking skills.
Students who score in the 98th or 99th percentile are awarded a partial scholarship for their freshman year at Carmel Catholic High School.

Application for Admission
Completed applications are due by January 23, 2009.
After taking the Entrance Exam, 8th Graders and their families need to formally apply to Carmel Catholic. The following steps need to be taken in order to have a completed application:
- Fill out an Application for Admission
- Submit a $325 application fee (checks payable to Carmel Catholic).
- Complete the authorization form: Entrance Exam Scores Release Form.
- Complete the authorization form: Records Release to Carmel Catholic High School (Note: This form must be returned to your student’s current school by Tuesday, January 22nd)
Families need to return Items #1-#3 listed above to Carmel Catholic by no later than Friday, January 25th. Families may mail a completed application to the following address:

Those students whose process is completed by the deadline will then be considered for admission. Acceptance letters will be mailed on February 15th. The $325 application fee is non-refundable to students who have been accepted to Carmel.
Students who are not accepted to Carmel Catholic will be refunded their $325 application fee via mail after February 15th.
