Dear Friend,
The community of Carmel Catholic High School welcomes you to its website! As a virtual visitor you will have an opportunity to catch a glimpse of our life together. Our programs are strong, our students are enthusiastic, and our teachers and administrators are committed to nurturing the best attributes in our young women and men.
Founded in 1962 by the Order of Carmelites and the Sisters of Charity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, our school reflects a Vatican II theology with a special emphasis on faithful involvement in the Church and local community through service. We believe that this activity exemplifies our mission statement which calls us “to be a Christian community in which students, parents, faculty, and alumni interact in a spirit of Gospel love and freedom.”
As a college preparatory school, we offer an academic program which prepares our students for post-secondary education in which they can excel. Our graduates attend some of the most prestigious colleges and universities both in Illinois and in other regions of the country.
