The Office of Institutional Advancement

The Office of Institutional Advancement at Carmel Catholic High School is responsible for the coordination of all fund raising, external communications and alumni relations. Our goal is to foster a culture of philanthropy and engagement within the Carmel Community. We do this by providing leadership, service, social and spiritual activities for our graduates, parents and friends and by inviting them to become donors and to join our Annual Fund campaign as well as special restricted and capital drives.

Proud Of Our Past...Focused On Our Future

The Office of Institutional Advancement has several main functions: to coordinate all fund raising for the school, to support a vibrant Alumni Relations program, to facilitate all external communication and to work with external groups who are interested in supporting Carmel Catholic High School. We also share and celebrate the traditions and stories of Carmel Catholic.

The Advancement Office coordinates all unrestricted and restricted fund raising projects. The Annual Fund, the yearly unrestricted fund drive, provides vital budget relieving dollars that support the people, programs and facilities of CCHS. The Advancement Office also coordinates our restricted, capital and planned giving programs. In addition to fund raising campaigns, the office also host two major fund raising events, the STAR Gala, raising endowment funds for need-based tuition assistance, and the Carmel Catholic Golf Classic, raising money to support our athletic programs.

The Advancement Office also provides a vibrant Alumni Relations program. This program provides various mission-centered activities including leadership, service, social and spiritual for our graduates. Additionally, we host an online community that allows alumni to stay in touch and connect virtually to CCHS. A formal Alumni Association provides opportunities for alumni to give back through service and leadership. A program of anniversary and regional reunions allows us to gather frequently and celebrate the Carmel Catholic community. For more information, please contact Sr. Kathleen Sinclair, BVM, Director of Institutional Advancement at 847-388-3342.

Communication is a vital component in linking our over 12,500 alumni as well as our current and past parents, friends and supporters. The Advancement Office manages several external communication vehicles: the Carmel Catholic Web Site (www.carmelhs.org), Our alumni online community (Corsairalumni.org), monthly e-newsletters, Currents-the alumni magazine of Carmel Catholic High School, and our Annual Report.
