Esmeralda Mora named Illinois Foreign Language Teacher of the Year

Each year, Illinois Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ICTFL) names an outstanding world language educator as its Illinois Teacher of the Year. The awardee becomes a candidate for the Central States Conference Regional Teacher of the Year Award and serves as an ICTFL delegate to Language Advocacy Days in Washington, D.C. The ICTFL award is intended to elevate the profession's status at the state, regional, and national levels by creating opportunities for recognizing the most accomplished members of the profession.

Laurel Fullerton '25 Earns Perfect Score on ACT

Congratulations to senior Laurel Fullerton on earning a perfect score of 36 on the ACT in June. This is the highest possible score a student can achieve on the test, with just 0.25% of all test takers reaching this accomplishment. Laurel is one of two Class of 2025 students who earned this accomplishment.

Class of 1974 Celebrates 50th Reunion

We are thrilled that over 100 of our 1974 classmates returned for their 50th reunion on June 8th! The reunion committee did a fantastic job planning a fun-filled weekend including a golf outing at Countryside Golf Club and an ice breaker on Friday, reunion at Carmel Catholic on Saturday, and breakfast at Crossroads on Sunday.
