Bing's finish in the three-mile contest—which featured heavy rains and headwinds that tamped-down times throughout the day—was good enough to earn the second-year runner status as a state medalist, and was the pace-setter amongst Carmel Catholic teammates joining her downstate.
Also representing the Girls Cross Country program was sophomore Norah Belmonte, whose time of 10:25.08 was good enough for 129th position in the field of 234, while the 17:02.90 of sophomore Cole Bonham and 17:47.74 of freshman Joey Lodowsky gave the Boys Cross Country team finishes of 99th and 179th, respectively.
