Alumni Community
The Carmel Catholic High School Alumni Community is a thriving group of more than 19,000 alumni spanning six decades. We encourage alumni to return to Carmel Catholic for an event, performance, athletic game, Mass, tour of the school, to speak to a class or just to say hello.
We are looking forward to celebrating our second annual Emeritus Reunion! Our first six graduating classes from the Carmel High School for Boys and Carmel High School for Girls will be welcomed back to Carmel on Saturday, April 25th.
Our charter class of 1966 is celebrating 60 Years since graduating, and will be joined with the classes of 1967, 1968, 1969, 1970, and1971. We will start the reunion with mass at the St. Titus Brandsma chapel, then have lunch and time to catch up with classmates. We will end the day with tours of the school. Please register by April 10th. It was wonderful to see so many return last year- some for the first time in over 55 years! These founding classes created a legacy that will live on in these hallways forever!
We are excited to announce that we are restarting the professional networking group that we kicked off in 2024 - 2025. These meetings are open to the entire Carmel Community: parents, alumni, parents of alumni, or just friends and supporters of our school. We plan to meet quarterly, with our first meeting on Thursday, March 12th at 7:30am in the Kathy A. Nemmers Welcome Center. Connect with business professionals who share your values and sense of community. Help expand the group by inviting Carmel-connected friends or business associates with you!
Jonathan Doyle is a Managing Director at RBC Rochdale and was our featured presenter at our first meeting. He is a Certified Financial Analyst, and shared a great presentation on the current markets and economy.
Young alumni in our last 5 graduating classes of 2025, 2024, 2023, 2022, 2021 were invited back to Carmel Catholic on Wednesday January 7th. We enjoyed celebrating the first all-school mass of the year together, lunch, and visiting teachers through the afternoon. We are looking forward to seeing you all again soon - good luck and God Bless you during your spring semester!
Thank you to all of our alumni who visited us for Homecoming October 3rd and 4th! Friday was a perfect night for the football game! The student section was full of Corsair pirates cheering on the team, the crowd was full of excitement, and our beloved alumni enjoyed a great view of the game from the Alumni tent at the north end zone. Sadly our Corsairs unfortunately lost in the last minutes of the game against Montini Catholic 55-54, but it was still was a beautiful night for the Carmel Catholic Community!
Saturday night was another beautifully warm October night at First Draft in Grayslake where we enjoyed the company of more of our amazing alums!
Class of 1975 50th Reunion
We were so happy to welcome back the class of 1975 for their 50th Reunion in April! We celebrated this major milestone with an energetic class that has remained close after all these years. We started with a beautiful alumni Mass in the St. Titus Brandsma chapel, gave tours of the school, and then partied the night away with dinner, music, and dancing. Thank you to Jane Lambiris and Joanne (Rangatore) Anderson for making the night so memorable for everyone!
