Spiritus Events

The Spiritus Series features a wide range of events designed to enkindle faith, encourage dialogue, and bring people together in Christ. All events are free and open to the public.

Carmel Catholic High School established a strategic relationship with several Catholic elementary and middle schools in Lake and Cook counties during the 2017-18 school year. The purpose behind this partnership is to foster and cultivate a strong, rich, and supportive K-12 Catholic education experience for students and families. This working relationship is an extension of our belief in providing a robust and outstanding Catholic education in a Christ-centered environment.

Carmel Catholic students are required to perform Christian service during their high school years. In doing so, they will make an impact on every level of society, near and far. Members of our founding orders, the Sisters of Charity of the Blessed Virgin Mary and the Order of Carmelites, have given centuries of service to those in need through the imitation of Christ and his Blessed Mother, Mary. Our students continue this tradition with acts of service in a wide variety of settings so that the love and compassion of Christ may transform our world today.
